Gozo buildings with colourful paintwork

Much of the charm of Gozo and Malta is the architecture. The weathered stone, the brightly painted doors and windows. The Mediterranean winds and sea spray have taken their toll on the older buildings creating a rustic beauty. Plants grow from crevice's, paint peels, little is wasted, the place is a glorious cacophony where old meets new in the most beautiful of ways.
