Shedded snakeskin in rural Algarve, Portugal.

While walking in rural Portugal, we came across this shedded snakeskin at the side of the road, as we approached, we thought it would be a dead snake, but were happy, relieved and amazed to see it was just the shed skin of snake. It was perhaps a meter in lenght.
