Borage Herb, Star Flower

Borage: Borage, also known as a starflower, is an annual herb in the flowering plant family Boraginaceae, the same family of the also blue, Forget-me-not. The blue flowers are a stunning shade, I have grown it with nasturtiums meandering through, the yellows, oranges and blues were spectacular together. It is native to the Mediterranean region and has naturalized in many other locales. It grows well in my North of England Garden, self-seeding prolifically, but never becoming a pest as it is easy to pull up. The plant is loved by pollinating insects.
