Linaria Purpurea, Toadflax

Description

With it's tall purple spires in late spring to late summer, perennial Linaria is possibly my favorite all rounder summer plant. Reaching, on average 4 feet tall in my garden, they are all over. They self seed prolifically, don't take up much ground room, add lots of drama, and if cut back after flowering may give you another showing of flowers later in the year. They also make a great cut flower and last well in the vase
