Old Bumble bee on old Dahlia

This old Bumble Bee is nearing the end of it's short, yet beautiful life. Here it is sat on a Dahlia flower that has also lost it's youthfulness. The Bumble Bee lives for only four short weeks. Its wings are damaged and it is very lethargic, yet it have done a monumentally important job of pollinating thousands of flowers.
